West Boulder and Downtown Tour

Yesterday was a great day. A bit cold at the end of the year, but it’s finally looking like winter for a change this season.

On the last day of 2010,  I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with some wonderful people from a relatively unknown town called Flower Mound, Texas (unless you’re from the Dallas / Fort Worth area, then maybe you know Flower Mound!)

We started with lunch at Brasserie 1010, one of my favorite restaurants in Boulder, and then toured the neighborhoods of western central Boulder, and took a peek at a few homes for sale.

Call, text, or email me today! … I’d seriously enjoy having the opportunity to talk to you about your plans if you’re moving, or if you know someone who is considering a move, and needs some straight answers.

We took a trip up through the Newlands Neighborhood, Mapleton Hill, Hillcrest, and Whittier, then back into downtown Boulder.

In Hillcrest, we cruised by the Boulder custom home on Alpine built by Jeff Davis which I featured last year in one of my real estate and boulder neighborhood videos. (The home is no longer for sale).

With a personal tour of some of the lesser known streets in between these neighborhoods, and some ‘tour guide’ commentary, I think my friends from Texas have a little better sense of the lay of the land in central and central-western Boulder.

With any luck, we’ll be out tomorrow for more adventures and more house viewing. It’s a process that requires patience and listening, which I love.

Building relationships, meeting new clients, making new friends, and helping people learn a little more about the area, where I’ve lived for over 30 years is one great way to spend the last day of the year, and the first part of a new year!

With a rendezvous at the St. Julien Hotel to meet some friends, I imagine they had a terrific evening celebrating the end of 2010, and the start of a new year in Boulder, Colorado.

Thinking about buying a new home, getting ready to sell, or know someone who plans to move? I think we should talk.

Call, Text, or Email me. I will listen carefully to you.

You may also find my neighborhood profiles, and Boulder business profiles informative and useful. They’re both great ways to learn more about what’s going on in Boulder. Call, Text, or Email me today!
