Tires Inc Almost A Downtown Boulder Landmark

photo_052809_001It’s almost June, and therefore time for my spring trek to Tires Inc in downtown Boulder to get my snow tires removed.

In the city of Boulder, and especially in the downtown Boulder area, or more precisely the ‘flatlands’ of our area, there’s really no reason to go much later than now with your snow tires on. Still, I’m still hearing a lot of that ‘macaroni tire’ sound as folks drive around town with studded snow tires.

If you’re not familiar with Tires Inc., you should be. It’s one of the best locally-owned tire and auto parts shops in Boulder. I like doing business with locally owned shops, and this place is a great example. I’ve known Nick Hardy, and some of his employees for over two decades.

Call or email me when you’d like to talk about more local businesses, how to get the inside scoop on what’s locally owned, and who’s been in business enough years to prove they have the reputation and staying power to survive in a competitive market.

Downtown Boulder TiresWell, the snow tires are off. It’s only been raining for the last few weeks. Whoah! I mean there hasn’t been any snow! We’ve had some rain here and there but just like today, a little bit of clouds and rain for about an hour or less, and then back to beautiful Colorado sunshine. With the amazingly great weather we have here, it’s no wonder that Boulder is such a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. I hope you’ll have a chance to come visit, if you’re not already here, and see for yourself why so many people choose to call Boulder home.

If you’ve been thinking about exploring more about the Boulder area, and neighborhood data, I have some special things coming. As a matter of fact, I’m just about caught up with some paperwork for several buyers I’ve been working for these last few days, and so we’ll have another neighborhood video for you very soon. That’s for starters, and then you’ll see something new before too long.

So if you’re one of those still running around on snow tires, now’s the time (hey, it’s past time!) to get those things off your car. Save ’em for next season and get rolling on your summer rubber. If you talk to Ben, James, Craig, or any of the fine people at Tires Inc., you won’t be disappointed.

In the meantime, if you’re thinking about buying or selling real estate, why not Call or email me now so we can talk that over. Take the time to get straight answers to your real estate questions. Or even just Call or email me if you’d like to get a little more familiar with Boulder’s many great locally owned businesses.
