Superior Plans Street Improvements

Superior is planning on spending over $3 million on street improvements in 2009.

If you’ve been over to the original part of Superior south west of town hall, you may have already noticed some major changes.

Some area that were once dirt roads leading up to the former mining rail line on 3rd are now getting pavement and curbs. The old rail line is a great hiking and biking trail that heads westward towards Marshal mesa.

The investment by the town will also include many planned street improvements and maintenance issues throughout the community, according to Town Manager Scott Randall.
