New Boulder Restaurant Helps

bimbamboologo.gifAs a Boulder Realtor that finds himself entertaining clients and many out-of-town guests it’s great to have such a wonderful selection of restaurant choices.

A new Asian concept restaurant is scheduled to open hopefully by mid December. With a combo of Thai, Vietnamese and East Indian cuisines, Bimbamboo is going into a location near 17th and Pearl Street. The new Bimbamboo is said to be a prototype and they apparently intend to offer a counter to the Asian-fast-casual category that in the words of the group opening the restaurant is becoming too “homogeneous”. They intend to focus on a higher level of service, they’ll include some organic ingredients, all-natural meats and freshness. Sounds like a good fit. Oh, and for those of you inclined, they will have a bar. Is it cocktail hour yet?

If you’re thinking of buying the condo we have for sale at the Water Street project , this would be an easy walk of about 1-1/2 blocks.

As the east end of the Pearl Street mall area matures and there continues to be lots of excellent shopping choices and dining choices I’m happy to see the changes. The current bounty of activity between 15th and 18th streets on Pearl is really doing a great job of drawing pedestrian traffic onward past the ‘end’ of the Pearl St. Mall and destination visitors find that with all the new parking possibilities, it’s very easy and convenient.

Some of my other favorites on East Pearl include L’Atelier , Frasca , and Aji .

I’m anxious to try Black Cat also.
