Full Cycle Bikes Special Events, Clinics and Classes

Full Cycle Bikes is one of Boulder’s premier cycling stores.

They actually have two retail Boulder bike sales and service locations; one is on The Hill and the other in the old Penny Lane location on Pearl street, east of the Pearl Street Mall.

One thing I love about Full Cycle is their dedication and commitment to the community.

This dedication really shines in many ways. Karli and her husband have helped with all sorts of community-based efforts such as the Freiker, bike to school program, and we’ll see them at the Superior Morgul Classic too.

Beginner Maintenance Classes
May 5th & 19th, 7:15pm, Full Cycle on Pearl AND in Ft. Collins
Come and learn basic bike maintenance (flat fixing, safety checks, tuneups, basic repairs, cleaning) from our professional mechanics. Classes are FREE!

Bike Computer Clinic
Tuesday, May 11th, 7pm  – Full Cycle on Pearl
Take the mystery out of bike computers and come and hear about the cool Garmin, Cat Eye and Polar Bike Computers! Learn about cadence, heart rate, how to use and set your computer, and just the basics. You’ll get 10% off any computer purchased at the Clinic!

Women’s Clinic – How Your Bike Works
Thursday, May 13th, 7:15pm, Full Cycle on Pearl
Learn the in’s and out’s of how your bike works – once you know these basics and not-so-basics, you’ll be more confident on your rides!

Women’s Clinic – Basic Bike Skills
Sunday, May 16th, 9:30am-11:30am, Full Cycle on Pearl
This clinic will cover: getting in and out of pedals, shifting/braking, steering, cornering, hand positioning, water bottle removal and replacement, safe and effective looking-over-the-shoulder, passing, lane changes and more! Class size limited to 10 women. We will meet at Full Cycle at 18th and Pearl Ready to Roll sharply at 9:30 over to Boulder High School for the Clinic. YOU MUST RSVP – karli@fullcyclebikes.com
