ConocoPhillips Buys More Land

A recent news article reports,  and a quick look at Boulder County property records confirms,  that ConocoPhillips has purchased a nine-acre parcel of land adjacent to its new facility in Louisville.

This action has shown the ongoing intent ConocoPhillips has to advance its plans for launching the new education and research facility on the old Storage Tek campus.

ConocoPhillips paid more than $1 million for the land which it purchased from a trust. Makes sense that CP would want control of as much adjacent property as it could secure.

Stay tuned for more details on the progress ConocoPhillips and other ancillary businesses make as jobs come to our area.

I’m a firm believer that we’re going to see some incredibly positive changes and substantial growth in the Boulder-Denver area, especially along the Hwy 36 Corridor in Broomfield, Interlocken and adjacent areas.

This kind of anticipated commercial growth has already begun as several businesses have relocated to our area in direct response to the earlier announcement that ConocoPhillips purchased the former Sun Micro / Storage Tek campus.

Even though the official start date of operations at the new ConocoPhillips research, development, and global-training center seems to be a moving target, there’s a sense of confidence and economic stimulation that’s already permeated the region.

Demolition crews are making significant progress removing the old ’60’s and ’70’s era buildings that need to make way for the new facility. We can see that fairly clearly even from the Boulder Turnpike (Hwy 36). You can see a glimpse of this on my video profile of their progress here.

Call or email me when you’re interested in how you can profit from the current real estate market around our area. There are some amazing things happening!
