Many people generically refer to parts of southern Boulder as ‘Martin Acres’ but it’s really a very specific geographical area. How about taking a look at my video tour that introduces you to the Martin Acres neighborhood?

Martin Acres is home to Creekside Elementary, and Martin Park. Martin Park is a large swath of land with both plenty of open space to play Frisbee, or toss the ball around with your friends or kids, but the mature landscape that provides shade and aesthetics that I think you’ll love too.

There are about 1300 single family homes, also some apartments and it’s all very conveniently located between Table Mesa Drive, Broadway and the Boulder Turnpike. So, whether you need to head to downtown Boulder, CU, Table Mesa shopping or on down to Denver, there’s easy access to all the right paths for you.

I like the convenience factor, combined with the relative serenity of the neighborhood. The time I spent in Martin Acres just before thanksgiving was really pretty low-key. Some kids playing in the tot-lot near the picnic shelter, an occasional jogger or bicycle rolling through on the pathway, and the random dog-walker were the bulk of my companions that late morning at the park.

I think you’d like the price of these homes too. But if you see something you think you like, don’t wait long. Only six homes sold in Martin Acres in 2008, and the average number of days on the market for those six homes was only 33 days. That’s way below the average for the city of Boulder.

Take a minute and follow this link to see my tour of Martin Acres. You’ll get a peek at Martin Park and hear some interesting info about the neighborhood, and nearby parts of Boulder.

If you are ready to explore this neighborhood, or just want to run some questions by me, please call or email me so we can talk more about your plans in Boulder. I hope I get to talk to you soon!
