BolderBoulder is Moving!

bolderboulder.jpgWhen I first got the email, I thought something was wrong… How could the BolderBoulder leave Boulder? Okay, it only took me seconds to figure it out: they’re abandoning their headquarters on North Broadway. How could they leave such a prime piece of Boulder real estate?!

sealevel.jpgSo, I move ahead again, too quickly and follow the link to the sight to snag one of the “Sea Level Is For Sissies” tee shirts. Since I got the wrong size in my pre race package this year, I passed that on to my wife. It seems size small is okay for her but a wee bit too snug for my torso.

For anyone that likes running and hasn’t been to or participated in the BolderBoulder it’s worth checking out.

zacharybolderboulder.jpgI’ve lived here 30 years or so and remained a spectator forever it seemed. I finally got back into running just a few years ago and spent some time thinking about my personal and professional goals. I read somewhere that a way to clarify goals is to think not about what you want to do, but what you want to be. So, taking that to heart, I realized I wanted to be the kind of person that ran the BolderBoulder. 2006 was my first year and I ran it again in 2007.

Looks like we have 263 days left to the 2008 event. In the meantime, Friday 9/7/7 is the big sale as they liquidate all sorts of stuff from their North Boulder Warehouse at 4571 North Broadway. See you there!
