We’re Close To The Sun

enviroflash_logo.gifWhen I grew up no one ever used the word “sunblock”. The most I remember is people pouring ‘tanning lotion’ on or even baby oil at the pool. Now we send our kids out only after slathering on SPF 45 or more sun block and hats. Is it because we’re really getting more UV exposure everywhere or are we closer to the sun?

My daughter and I enjoy looking at the sunrise every morning we can and we see some spectacular colors. This time of year it’s really exciting with the outrageous cloud formations. And it’s a welcome sight to see the sun coming up on a chilly 40 degree morning.

Want to see the UV forecast for your local area? Go to the SunWise website but hurry because it looks like they lost their budget for 2008.
