Valley Bank Opens Louisville Post Office

On the heels of Louisville announcing that the old downtown post office is closing, I’ve learned earlier this month that Valley Bank and Trust in Louisville now has a contract post office at it’s location.

This won’t fix your problem if you’ve been used to using the old Louisville post office, and the convenience factor of walking to that location. It won’t help with some other services that a main post office provides either.

If you want some more info about Louisville, or generally want to talk about your real estate plans, please call or email me so I can give you the assistance you deserve!

While you can’t get a post office box, or apply for a passport at the Valley Bank contract post office, you can get stamps, mail letters and parcels and many other typical services you’d expect from a ‘regular’ post office.

I think that Valley Bank is excited about having the contract post office in their location due to the increase in foot traffic into the bank that wouldn’t normally come in there. I imagine that they’ll pick up some deposit accounts eventually from those folks.

I’m thinking of doing some banking there myself, after all, I think it’s great to support locally owned businesses when possible.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling real estate, I hope you’ll call or email me so we can talk about your needs and get you moving in the direction you want to go.
