Superior Seeks Real Estate Developer
Superior Colorado never really had a downtown district although there are some historical tid-bits about a building or two in the area locals like to call ‘original town’ Word is that town leaders are hoping that the three private properties near McCaslin and Hwy 36 (about 160 acres) will become the “downtown” Superior never had.
Superior Real Estate Development has been historically residential in it’s early stages through the 1990’s until they finally got a Safeway anchored center at Coalton and Rock Creek Parkway followed soon by the Superior Marketplace.
Seems the town has some great ideas about the now-popular mixed use, high density, pedestrian friendly town center and they just need someone to purchase the land and put together a plan. They’ve already made some good progress and seem to be well organized. More info at the
Town of Superior website.
Even without a true town center, Superior residential real estate continues to hold value well due to high demand from families that want all of the amenities a well planned project such as Rock Creek has to offer. I see people attracted to the area for various reasons and overall it seems to maintain popularity with buyers no matter what the overall local and regional residential real estate market seems to be doing.
