Superior Cub Scouts Go Camping
Cub Scouts from the Superior Pack 278 spent a few days up at Camp Jack Nichol, part of the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch near Red Feather Lakes Colorado last week.

I’ve had the pleasure to be invited a couple years ago to help with the pack and become one of the adult leaders for the scouts.
It’s been a great way to feel like I’m bringing something back to the community, and of course meet lots of new people.
What I think I love most about it though, is the time I get to spend with my son doing many of the things I always wanted to do as a kid. We are very fortunate to live in such a wonderful state that has so much to offer in the way of outdoor activities. Scouting gives us a perfect organization to facilitate both fun and civic responsibility.
My son and I had a great time with all the activities like Archery, Covered Wagon Construction, BB Shooting, Night Hiking to the top of Spyglass Hill, Wrist Rockets, Light Parades, and Cross Bow building.
