Superior Colorado Traffic Circle News

There’s been some concern and controversy over the closing of McCaslin Blvd. to pave the road, and finish the traffic circle at the intersection of McCaslin Blvd and Coalton Road.

The most recent update which seems to clarify the status of the project comes directly from the Public Works and Utilities Coordinator for the Town of Superior:

The closure & paving of the McCaslin-Coalton roundabout has been re-scheduled for this Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.  Again, McCaslin Boulevard will be completely closed to thru traffic between Rock Creek Parkway & S. Indiana Street during this time.  Northbound & southbound thru traffic is advised to take Rock Creek Parkway or Indiana Street.  Eastbound & westbound Coalton Road will continue to be closed at the McCaslin Boulevard intersection.  Local traffic access to The Ridge & to Calmante Homes will remain open.

We certainly understand the inconvenience that a project like this poses for the traveling public, & very much appreciate your patience during the construction process.  Please contact the Public Works Dept. at 303-499-3675 with any questions.
