Pizzeria Basta At The Peloton Boulder

I had the opportunity to catch up on things at The Peloton in Boulder and to discover a new restaurant.

I had a meeting planned with Freddy from The Peloton sales office, and we took the opportunity to have a little chat about the price updates, and current events.

Since it was lunchtime, we took our meeting over to a new Boulder restaurant at The Peloton called Pizzeria Basta which just opened at the first of the year.

Chef and Owner, Kelly Whitaker took the time to come over and introduce himself, and we spent some time talking about  his approach to the style and quality of food at his new restaurant.

One of the things that really stuck with me is that he has a tremendous amount of passion for his work, and the careful selection of ingredients he uses in all of his food he lovingly prepares for his clients.

A quote from Kelly on his website covers part of the story:

Basta, which means “enough” in Italian, represents the philosophy of our restaurant. We believe that simple, properly prepared food and a good bottle of wine are all you need for a satisfying meal.

Now that the Peloton has filled two of the three restaurant spaces, and added a pilates studio, the live-ability and viability of this project feels stronger than ever.

Call, text, or email me today! …especially if you’re ready to talk about selling your home, buying a new home, or know someone that is moving! Want to get more info directly from the source? Call Freddy at the Peloton sales office at 303-457-5230 x223, and tell him I sent you.

One of the things you’ll notice if you go check out Pizzeria Basta, is that they have a simple and very straight-forward menu. But the key is, it’s ever changing…

Something that Basta Owner/Chef Mr. Whittaker said was that he loves the concept of seasonal ingredients, and the adaptation in his menu, his ingredients, and the excellent food at Basta give something truly special to your meal, if the lunch I enjoyed is any indication of the rest of the menu.

I think it’s worth the visit, and with about 160 parking spaces in the center of the Peloton, it should be easy to access. You’ll likely run into some of the residents from The Peloton, so if you’re interested in owning a home there, it may be a great way to have a wonderful meal, and get the inside scoop on what current residents love about living there.

The menu changes, and yet you can get a glimpse of the offerings on the Basta Website. More press and reviews are available on Basta.
