New Hiking and Biking Loop At Betasso Preserve

The Betasso Preserve trail is popular to so many of us in Boulder because of its multi-use status. Even the cub scouts have an annual pancake breakfast and hiking event up there.

It looks like soon Boulder County will expand the area and add a new 4.6 mile multi-use trail. There are already five miles of multi-use trails on the 780 Acre Betasso property. That includes the Bummer’s Rock Trail (1/4 mile long), the Canyon Loop Trail (3.2 miles), and the Link Trail (1.25 miles).

There’s some new land that comes into play for this proposed trail.

If new land is in your future, or any other real estate need is on the horizon, call or mail me now, so you’ll be in full swing when you’re ready to make a move!

The new land for Betasso Preserve would use the ‘Benjamin Property’ which became part of the mix a couple of years ago. That piece of property includes 391 acres and if this moves forward, it could be linked to the existing Betasso trail.

The proposed area for the new trail seems to cover some pretty steep terrain, so it’d be a popular destination for the uber-jock mountain bikers so prevalent in our area.

Most of the rest of the property would likely go unchanged due to its rocky and difficult to manage qualities. The Benjamin property has more than a 1,500 vertical elevation change in some areas.

In the meantime, if you’re thinking about a move, please call or email me so we can my program meets your needs.
