Boulder Hike Video McClintock Trail
The McClintock Trail begins at the picnic area, just a bit south of the Chautauqua Auditorium.
The trail takes you into a lush stream-side forest, then gently climbs along the trees and eventually across the fire road (Enchanted Mesa trail) at a stone bridge. The trail continues to climb along the edge of a shrub-filled gully until it intersects with the Mesa Trail.
The McClintock and Enchanted Mesa trails start immediately on the south side of the Chautauqua Auditorium, near Chautauqua Park (Grant and Baseline Streets, Boulder). The nearby Ranger Cottage is staffed according to the following schedule:
Summer 2010
9 am – 4 pm Weekdays
8 am – 6 pm Weekends
Here are some other nearby trails and related information from the City of Boulder website:
Boulder Reading Series
Boulder coffee house, Laughing Goat, has a weekly reading series called “So You’re A Poet” weekly on Monday evenings between 8:00 and 11:00 PM.
If you’re looking for a different sort of literary event, you might consider stopping in…and they serve up some rather decent coffee and tea. I’ve met many friends and clients there, even for lunch.
Consider shopping locally owned businesses like The Laughing Goat. It’s one of many local establishments which help keep your dollars in the community.

Red Feather Lakes Colorado
In an amazing coincidence, I just listed a home in the Red Feather Lakes area of Colorado, and now one of the guest ranches in the area makes today’s USA Today as one of the top ten places to have a reunion.
I’ll have a home for sale video, and one or two of my neighborhood videos for you when we’re ready to roll up the marketing on this custom built home right on the north fork of the Cache La Poudre river. You will be amazed and delighted with what you see.
Of all the homes for sale in Colorado, and especially in the front range area, this is one of the more classic Colorado locations
In fact the entire area around Red Feather Lakes, including the Crystal Lakes area, and Beaver Meadows is quite spectacular.
Interior Design and Home Staging
I just had a meeting with local Interior Design and Home Staging experts Helly Duncan and Jami McCormick, from Design Matters Home.
We talked about the current status of the local real estate market, and how their business is constantly growing as sellers recognize the value of a well staged, and properly marketed home.
I also found that during our discussion, I have two clients who might enjoy meeting Helly and Jami to talk about interior design options as part of remodeling and home expansion projects they are contemplating.
