East Boulder County Artist’s Holiday Show
The East Boulder County Artist’s Holiday Show is now under way. While you may have missed the reception last friday, there’s still an opportunity to check out what these artists have available through November 21st. The show is open
Friday Nov 26 and Saturday Nov 27, 10-6 so you still have many opportunities to see this great art!
One local artist, who specializes in beautiful glass work is Jen Voegtli. She’s part of this group, and I own some of her work as I really like what she creates.
There’s more information in the quote from the EBCA:
Lender 411 Comments on boulder-buzz.com
Okay, so for a couple of weeks now I’ve been procrastinating again! A task at hand that really I shouldn’t put off any more, because instead of listening to what I say, why not listen to what someone else says. Like how testimonials are so important…
It keeps happening that spending time with clients, working on projects, and re-connecting with clients and friends who have already bought or sold homes has continued to be a full-time job. Don’t get me wrong, I love it. Real estate internet searches, online real estate value searches, and using buyers agents are the top ways people look for homes, so keeping up my writing here makes sense, and helps me connect with great people.
What I’ve been wanting to share with you is a little review I found at Lender 411 about my real estate blog. Kyle and some of the folks at Lender 411 seems to have been following my Boulder real estate blog, and they posted a review of my blog. How cool is that? You can read what they have to say here in my post today, or you can just give me a call and speak to me directly…
Boulder Hike Video McClintock Trail
The McClintock Trail begins at the picnic area, just a bit south of the Chautauqua Auditorium.
The trail takes you into a lush stream-side forest, then gently climbs along the trees and eventually across the fire road (Enchanted Mesa trail) at a stone bridge. The trail continues to climb along the edge of a shrub-filled gully until it intersects with the Mesa Trail.
The McClintock and Enchanted Mesa trails start immediately on the south side of the Chautauqua Auditorium, near Chautauqua Park (Grant and Baseline Streets, Boulder). The nearby Ranger Cottage is staffed according to the following schedule:
Summer 2010
9 am – 4 pm Weekdays
8 am – 6 pm Weekends
Here are some other nearby trails and related information from the City of Boulder website:
Boulder Reading Series
Boulder coffee house, Laughing Goat, has a weekly reading series called “So You’re A Poet” weekly on Monday evenings between 8:00 and 11:00 PM.
If you’re looking for a different sort of literary event, you might consider stopping in…and they serve up some rather decent coffee and tea. I’ve met many friends and clients there, even for lunch.
Consider shopping locally owned businesses like The Laughing Goat. It’s one of many local establishments which help keep your dollars in the community.
