Boulder Realtor finds Green Building Seminar Chooses to become next Boulder Real Estate Ecobroker
In one of the hottest days of the summer I decide to meet my old friend: John Beldock. He’s the Owner and Founder of Ecobroker International. Funny thing is, we meet at a local “Green-Built” Boulder Real Estate Project and their community meeting place has no A/C. What is it with the heat chasing me lately?!
John’s been on my case for the last couple of years to get my ecobroker designation. It’s been one of those, “yeah, I know it’s important and I’ll do it soon” sort of things. Well Beldock’s VP put on one hell of a presentation. I’m convinced. I signed up today and will soon complete the 18 hours of education to become ecobroker certifited. Beldock says the Boulder Real Estate community will be a better place because of it.
The Real Estate market in Boulder is a prime place for this kind of awareness. Green building is not only being embraces by local new home builders… many homeowners of Boulder Real Estate in and around the county are finding that there are many ‘Green” alternatives when making updates or even periodic maintainence types of home repairs.
