Boulder Real Estate Market Update Jan 2010
Boulder real estate is still selling well. A few less houses sold in January, as compared to December of 2009, but the prices remain strong and stable. Is it time for you to invest in the Boulder real estate market?
Remember that the home buyer tax credit is not just for new home buyers. If you’re moving, and have lived in your current home at least five of the last eight years, you may also qualify for a tax credit up to $6,500. The deadline to be under contract to purchase is April 30th 2010, and you have to close the sale by June 30th 2010.

Number Sold: 27
Average Sales Price: $818,481
Median Sales Price: $505,000
Average Days On Market: 136
Boulder Sold Condos January 2010 :
Number Sold: 19
Average Price: $385,049
Median Price: $319,500
Average Days On Market: 295
Whoa, the average days on market for sold condos shot up tremendously compared to December 2009. It looks like maybe some condos that had been sitting on the market for a very long time finally sold. Just a guess, but that would explain the big change in the data.
