Boulder Farmer’s Market On Wednesdays Again

The local Boulder Farmer’s Market will once again open for the season on Wednesdays beginning this week.

Typically there are lots of people showing up for the weekend farmer’s market at its 13th street location: between Arapahoe and Canyon Blvd. Fewer people seem to be aware that there’s another opportunity on Wednesdays.

It’s a great location since it’s adjacent to the creek path and Central Park in downtown Boulder. It’s also an easy walk just a block over to the Pearl Street Mall. Parking is simple with all the downtown parking structures as well as some surface lots near the park too.

There’s also plenty of prepared food. Local merchants set up in an area to the east of the center of 13th street next to the Dushanbe Tea House. My wife often craves the Mole’ and my kids, Parker and Marshal love the fruit smoothies and of course the flavored honey sticks.

Typically you can find classic local farms represented such as Munson Farms and many other local family farms from around the county.

Here’s the days and times in case you want to venture over and get some locally grown fruits, veggies and other fine food products.

Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. through November 1st and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. through October 1st.

The kids have finished this round of their swimming lessons on Saturday mornings so we’ll probably be in every week or so for our jaunt to the Boulder library, a short hike and then a stop at one great farmer’s market.

I hope to see you there!
